NeuroImage Features STAGE Research on Cover of Sept 2020 Issue

The SpinTech team is excited to announce that one of our recent papers made the cover of NeuroImage September 2020 issue!

The paper features the use of our STrategically Acquired Gradient Echo (STAGE) MRI software technology in Parkinson’s research to track changes as the disease progresses. With up to 40% faster scan-time and enhanced image outputs compared to other MRI technologies, researchers were able to optimize the contrast for any tissue changes using two roughly 7-minute scans at just two flip angles (15° and 30°).

Editorial: Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping in Neurodegeneration

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of resolution on iron content using quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM); to verify the consistency of QSM across field strengths and manufacturers in evaluating the iron content of deep gray matter (DGM) of the human brain using subjects from multiple sites; and to establish a susceptibility baseline as a function of age for each DGM structure using both a global and regional iron analysis.
